Number 24 BBQ Sauce





Makes 1 pint

1 cup brown sugar

3 Tablespoons canola oil

½ minced yellow onion

¼ cup liquid smoke

1 Tablespoon Kitchen Bouquet Browning

1 Tablespoon Pro Seasoning All Purpose

1 ½ cups ketchup

1 Tablespoon Pro Seasoning Aleppo Pepper

½ cup apple cider wine vinegar

1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard


Method of Prep:

Preheat a medium sized saucepan over medium low heat. Add the oil and bring to medium low temperature. Add the onions and cook until translucent. Once onions are translucent, add Aleppo pepper and stir for 30 seconds. Next, add all remaining ingredients and cook on low, stirring almost constantly for 5-7 minutes. If the sauce looks too thick, add 2 Tablespoons of water until desired thickness is achieved.
